Keep Your Home Safe with Dryer Vent Cleaning

Small pieces of lint can pass through the lint screen and build up in the vent overtime. This build up becomes a fire risk when heat and sparks are generated during dryer cycle.

Clean the vent once a season, or at least at the beginning and end of winter (when the dryer sees the most usage). The more you use your dryer, the more often you will need to clean.

Clean the lint trap after every use, and keep the area around the dryer clear of dust. Also keep the area around external vent clean and use a vent cover to protect against debris.
